Jim Bodine’s lifelong fascination with magic began at the age of ten, when his grandfather amazed him by pulling a real Milky Way candy bar from a television commercial. That spark of wonder never left—and today, Jim’s passion is creating magic that feels as real as possible.

Unlike many magicians, Jim relies on no boxes or gimmicked props. Instead, he has spent decades developing original effects that leave even seasoned professionals scratching their heads. His performances are built on authenticity, intimacy, and the goal of bringing true wonder to his audiences.

Before dedicating himself full-time to performing, Jim built a successful career in advertising as the founder and president of Bodine Marketing Group, Inc. in Philadelphia. Throughout those years, he also entertained and motivated for some of the world’s largest corporations, including Bayer, Revlon, and Pfizer, gaining a reputation as a magician who could inspire both laughter and amazement in equal measure.

Now retired from advertising, Jim continues his lifelong dream in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where he performs his show “Magic…As Real As It Gets!” at the London Bridge Resort. With intimate seating for just 32 guests, each performance ensures a personal, up-close experience. Jim’s mission is simple: to leave every guest with magical memories that feel every bit as real as the candy bar that started it all.
